Sylvia Robert: I teach Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. The method is specific, profound, efficient, and effective – influencing glandular and nervous systems. My intention is to share this technology with respect, love, and laughter, taking the ancient science seriously and (hopefully)myself not too seriously.
Kundalini Yoga teaches you the techniques and awareness to stay healthy. You gain a strong immune system, vital glands, a strong nervous system, good circulation, and an awareness of the impact of your habits. This foundation gives you energy and lets you deal with the mental and spiritual facets of your life. “In Kundalini Yoga, the most important thing is your experience. It goes right to your heart. No words can replace the experience.” ~ Yogi Bhajan
Marie Barnett teaches a “Hatha Flow” style yoga class, but she does admit to slipping in a bit of Pilates now and then. A dancer all her life, Marie began experiencing severe back pain and loss of flexibility due to dance related injuries. At the suggestion of her chiropractor she tried Yoga and Pilates and was stunned with the results! Marie continued teaching Classical Ballet, Pointe and Jazz while obtaining certifications in Yoga, Pilates and Group Fitness through AFAA Int. in Los Angeles CA. Marie and husband John have been married 32 years and have 4 grown children, 2 grandchildren and two more on the way!
“I am grateful for the Yoga practice in my life and am delighted to share this blessing with every student that walks through the door.”
